Palma "Parmie" (Polimino) Scicchitano's Obituary
Palma “Parmie” (Polimino) Scicchitano, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Francis House. She was born in Syracuse to the late Joseph and Carmela (Malara) Polimino and graduated from North High School.
In addition to her parents, Parmie is predeceased by her husband, Ralph in 2009; her sisters, Josephine Eskenazi, Jennie Raterman, Mary Gorgoni; and her brothers, Dominick “Nick” Polimino, Santo Polimino, and Patsy Polimino.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Sandy Polimino and Carol Polimino; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be private. Parmie will be laid to rest next to her husband in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that contributions in Parmie’s memory be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Ave., Syracuse, NY 13208.
Though Parmie never bore her own children, she had a unique relationship with each of her nieces and nephews and was completely dedicated to family. In her now immortal words "Love one another and stay together.”
