Val Enright
I was friends w/ Pat from when she came to work w/ me at the Ins Co. I was also a Union Officer, & Pat became involved in Union activities. We were both Strong Personities, but we got along pretty well as our thoughts/ opinions were 'on the same page' at least half the time (esp when it concerned things we felt to be 'Not Right'), & we both respected each other in tegards to intelligence. When she left to go work at the Hosp, we would still cross paths/ meet up at Union events. After she retired, we would often meet up at the casino. From the time the casino closed for covid, I hadn't really gone there much, if at all, til this year. As fate would have it, not long ago when I was there Pat came to my mind, & I thought I hadn't seen her at least since the covid closing (in hindsight, I'm thinking that it must've been the day she passed when she crossed my mind while I was at the casino)! Anyway, Pat Will Be Remembered by me, most likely when I'm at the casino & feel either my slot machine or Bingo cards are being Rigged! I send my sincere condolences to Pat's family & all affected by her passing. May keeping all the good memories in mind, as well as thoughts of how Strong & Fierce Pat was in fighting for what she thought was right (esp when she thought she was wronged), bring you comfort, smiles, & a few chuckles.
