Patricia A. Barnett's Obituary
Patricia A. Barnett, 81, of Mattydale, passed away December 13, 2023 at The Cottages at Garden Grove in Cicero. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late John F. and Elizabeth (Bianco) Barnett. Patricia graduated from Liverpool High School in 1960 and worked for NYS and SUNY Health Science Center, retiring in 1997. She enjoyed playing Bingo and was an avid animal lover and supporter of animal sanctuaries.
She was predeceased by her beloved cat, Sir Bentley, and her parrot, Gizmo.
Patricia is survived by her sisters, Elizabeth (Ronald) Snogles and Janis (David) Tyler; her brother, John L. Barnett; nephews, Steven Snogles and Matthew Tyler (Kristy Pitoniak); nieces, Suzanne (David) Salvaterra and Tiffany Tyler; several great nieces and nephews, and longtime friend of the family, David Alber.
Thank you to The Cottages for the wonderful care they gave our sister for the past year.
A prayer service will be held at noon on Friday, December 22, 2023 at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt.
