Patricia A. (Cummings) Caiello's Obituary
Patricia A. (Cummings) Caiello, 84, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation. She was born in Syracuse and lived most of her life in her Galeville home which she and her husband Richard built 60 years ago. It was a home she loved and often enjoyed spending time entertaining with family and friends. Patty was an avid Syracuse University fan; she also loved bowling and for many years, participated in the Rochester Lilac Bowling Tournament with her longtime team the “Milleretts”. Patty was the owner and operator of the Skyline Food Market for 51 years before her retirement.
Patty was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Kathlyn Cummings and her husband Richard Caiello in 2002.
Patty is survived by four children; sons, Mark P. (Cynthia) Caiello of North Syracuse, David A. (Dawn) Caiello of Liverpool, and Scott E. (Stephanie) Caiello of Clay; her daughter, Kathy (Jeff) Okon of Clay; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Patricia’s life at 9:30 AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt. Family and Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd., (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
