Patrick F. Spadafora's Obituary
Patrick F. Spadafora, 89, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2019. He was born in Syracuse, son of the late Frank and Rose (Pelligra) Spadafora. Patrick was devoted to his family and he dedicated his professional life to the students of the Syracuse City School District. Teacher, Principal and Director of Secondary Schools, Patrick’s special passion was Henninger High School. He was Past President and longtime member of the Rotary Club of Syracuse.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Laura (Casciano) Spadafora, March 18, 2019. Patrick is survived by three daughters, Lenore (Paul) Sealy and son Zachary, Doreen (Kenneth) Ural and sons, Matthew and Michael; Melissa (Roger) Nix and children, Tyler, Nicholas and Laurann; his brother, Ronald Spadafora; his sister, Phyllis Spadafora; two sisters-in-law, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, July 26, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Patrick’s life at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
