I am sorry to hear about Sy. I will always remember him by his smile and sense of humor. Dad thought the world of him and loved him like a brother. I've know Sy since 1973 and what a wonderful human being he was. After retirement from the Air National Guard, we would meet at Thee Diner on Wednesdays and have breakfast with friends from the 108th/113th. It's hard to believe that Sy is gone. Sy will be missed is an understatement as he was loved by everyone that had the fortune to meet him. My deepest condolences to the Sydorak family. RIP Sy.
Connie: Just a note from Mary Lou and I to express our condolences for your loss. Sy was on of the nicest persons I ever met. He had a great heart and would do anything for you. He was an integral part of not only the 108th Radar Maintenance Section, but of the entire unit.
My memories of Sy are all happy memories. Much laughter, smiles and just terrific times. I tried to help Sy when we set up our equipment. I am bsically a dunce when it comes to anything mechanical. Sy would look at me in complete frustration at times, but never lost his temper. Then when we were done he and i would just laugh at my antics.
I will miss Sy very, very much.

Sy was my first Supervisor when I joined the 108th Radar Maintenance Section. He was a great guy and LOVED his Radar. I have many storys and experiences with him while we were deployed to all the places we were sent. Sy you will be missed! RIP and Im glad my car never burnt your house down! -Brian-
