I have so many good memories of Aunt Fanny over the years that it's hard to think of just one. I do remember how she was very kind and caring to my father (her brother Tony) after my mother passed away. She always made sure to invite him over for dinner at least once a week, and would send him home with leftovers to keep him going for the next few days.
Aunt Rose, Aunt Fanny, Aunt Mary, Uncle Joe and my father were a very close knit family. They enjoyed each other's company and loved to reminisce about times past. I am sad that I won't be able to travel to Syracuse for her funeral, but will be with all the family in spirit as they celebrate her long life.
RIP Aunt Fanny. You were one of a kind.
