Today I found a dear friend from Long ago had left this world, A world much brighter for her being in it.
I met Rachel as a co-worker at UPS and came to respect her so much, not only for her work ethic, but for being a young single mom who had such devotion and love for her little boy Eric. Years went by and she fell in love with Tom and her life took on a new meaning suddenly Rachel glowed with Happiness, her life was complete. Sadly UPS moved people around and our lives went separate ways, but the lessons about life, motherhood and friendship that Rachel taught me working side by side those few years have always stayed with me. So sorry for your loss. I worked with Rachel at UPS for many years, and she was always so upbeat and sweet. Later we reunited at Brennan's, and I always looked forward to seeing her on my annual visits. My Dad really liked her, and will deeply miss her. Take care of yourself, and hope to see you this summer.
