Dear Nancy, I am sorry I could not be there with you in Syracuse to honor Reggie and your family. I have many fond memories of Reggie, you and Janice at our family picnics at the camp on Skaneateles Lake. I also remember playing at your house on Green Street while our parents visited. Your dad was a handsome and elegant man with a constant twinkle in his eye, and your mom was very beautiful and always smiling. The childhood experiences became rare as we all got older and went our separate ways, but the memories will last forever. Reggie was a little older than you and me, but always loved all the games we played at camp when it rained, and of course, we were always in the lake when the sun was out. If we all are lucky enough to get older, I pray that we will keep in touch and remember the importance of Family.
With love and respect, Charlie Bertini
