Renee was a beautiful and talented young lady who was a wonderful neighbor. She and Jason were the “kids” of our neighborhood. We are heartbroken that they are gone. My wife Liz and I enjoyed talking to Renee and Jason. They stopped by this summer during a walk around the neighborhood. So glad we had a chance to chat. Our condolences to Jae and Renee’s mom and family.
I’ve only known Renee for a short period of time, but I’m so grateful to have known her.
Not only was she smart and successful, she was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. She really went above and beyond to make me comfortable during a tough time.

Renee’ was one of my dearest friends and the very first friend I met in college. As fate would have it, I sat down beside her in lecture hall of more than 300 students and the rest was history. We remained close friends until the very end. As anyone who knew her could attest, Renee’ was an angel among us. I cannot think of another person who lived their life with such a spirit of selflessness, kindness and humility. Renee only wanted to take care of those she loved. She was a loving daughter, mother and friend. I truly enjoyed every moment and every laugh I shared with her. I’m not sure a loss has impacted me as much as this one. I will think of you, every day my friend. I believe we will meet again one day. I love you.

You were the best little sister I could’ve ever asked for. For 43 years, you were my best friend, confidant and number one fan. Looking back on our life together as your big brother, I was always your protector. And while your heart literally hurt so many times as you battled one illness after another, my heart figuratively hurt right along with you. It destroyed me watching you suffer so much and feeling so helpless. I’m glad you can finally rest and be with Dad again. And even though your time with us was short, your impact on our lives was enormous. I’ll love you and miss you forever, Kiki. Until we meet again.
