Joan and family, We were all so very sorry to read of Ren's recent death on January 30. Ren had attended our maintenance exercise program at St. Joseph's Hospital Cardiac Rehab for many years. He was such a sweet and lovely man, it was very sad to watch his decline as he struggled with his Alzheimer's disease. Please know that we are thinking of you all at this grievous time.
Dear Ms. Varone and family:
It was my pleasure working for your husband for about 3 years before he retired. He had a special way with his customers I won't forget. He treated everyone like family and he thanked personally each customer for their business and shook their hands when he greeted them by name. He had 3 generations of many families as customers and they all
admired him. I had great training there and I was well trained to deal with the large walk in and large phone population he developed in becoming a longtime successful agent of State Farm. He gave me a very nice letter of recommendation and he treated everyone the way that a customer should be treated. It was great to work for a very successful long time agency owner representing a well known company and to learn how he grew it to be something special. He will be missed by many. So glad to have known him and worked with him and his associate.

Loving, caring, interesting, never had a bad word to say about anybody or anything even when he had the right to. He was always interested in you and when he had a conversation with you, he would always follow it up with an article or two a couple weeks later. Just proof he was listening and still thought about you, even when you weren't around He was a genuine human being, that will greatly be missed, and will stay in our hearts always
My Dad instilled in me a respect for education, great compassion for others and a strong desire to be of service. He will be sorely missed. My best wishes to all who knew and loved him.
