Rikki Evan Bardrof's Obituary
Rikki E. Bardrof, 65, passed away peacefully on November 22, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Clearwater, FL to the late James and Edna (Boula) Bardrof. Rik worked as a software engineer for multiple companies for over 40 dedicated years. During his free time, he enjoyed being outside riding his bicycle or finding trails to hike. Spending time with family and friends was important to Rik and you could often find him creating and telling stories to his beloved grandchildren.
Rik is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lori Bardrof; his two children, Jeremy (Jennifer) Bardrof and Jessica (RJ) Kenney; four grandchildren, Madelyn, Gavin, Addison, and Colden; as well as his two brothers, James Bardrof and Walt Bardrof and stepfather, Roland Pearson.
Rik was an active member of Abundant Life Church for 29 years. Teaching about the Word of God was one of his great loves. The family would like to say a special thank you for the kind care and support from Pastors John and Lisa Carter, Pastor Vlad Garbuzyuk, and Pastor Gina Ogden during his time of illness.
A calling hour will take place on Tuesday, November 29, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm followed by a celebration of Rik’s life at 12:00 pm at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Rik to the Roswell Cancer Institute, 665 Elm St. Buffalo, NY 14203.
