Rina Shea's Obituary
Rina (Molisani) Shea, 87, of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from North High School. Rina was employed with the Syracuse City School District for over 20 years and was a secretary at Salem Hyde School for over 10 years, before retiring in 1993. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Peter's Church where she and her husband were married. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Louise Molisani; her husband, Robert Shea in 2001 and her son, Frank Shea in 1991. Rina is survived by her children, James Shea of DeWitt and Sandra Shea of Mattydale; 2 grandchildren, Michael Shea and Natalie Shea of DeWitt. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 9:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse and 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to the CNY SPCA, 5878 East Molloy Rd., Syracuse, NY 13211.
