Robert C. Biswanger, 72, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with ALS. Bob was born in Rochester to Edward and Catherine (Neighbor) Biswanger. He graduated as the Salut Read Obituary

Mr. Wisbanger. That's another nick name we had for him. He was my sophomore and junior year math teacher and the very BEST! Some things I remember about Mr Biz was his message that he didn't care HOW we got to an answer and long as we got there. I also remember him saying "bonehead" in an endearing and humorous way when we made mistakes. So many memories of HS have faded but I will ALWAYS remember Mr Biz!! He was a treasure and made this music and theatre geek LOVE math! My heart felt sympathy to all his family and friends. Liz Howard, CNS class of 1986.
Mr. Biz was my math teacher sophomore and junior year in high school and senior year - he was the best. I'll always remember him saying something was "gosh," along with reminding us never to "assume."
Later in life, he was one of my clients when I worked at Mercedes, and it was so nice to reconnect with him.
He was always a nice, patient, and humorous man ... he will be missed.

Mr Biz, you were one of the rare teachers who truly took that extra time for your kids. Thank you from a student whos life you made a difference in by taking that extra time to help me understand my work and a little real life lesson to not just give up.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, and the difficult journey Mr. Biz and his family have had. I haven't seen him in years, but he nurtured me through what I considered an Algebra nightmare - with infinite patience and a genuineness that even a teenager could understand. He made a real impact on my life.
