Best childhood memories, best generation to grow up in. We had a gang of kids that were 100% the inspiration for “ The Sand Lot”. Thank you Bob for being the best friend I could have ever asked for in those times. Lynn, Deb and Rick, I am so very sorry. When I think of Bob, my first thought is how much he loved Kelley and his dogs, and how easily and proudly he spoke of that love. There was nothing that he wouldn't do for them. He also is the only person I know who celebrated his dog's birthdays by taking them out for ice cream, and then post a picture of himself and the dogs all wearing those pointed little birthday hats.
He was one of a kind and I will miss him.
I always enjoyed talking with Bob at RGZ as he was coming in for his shift and I was leaving. Great guy,woderful personality. My condolences to Kelley and all his family.....Joe Brown
