Bob and I have been friends since the 1980s when I first met him at a prayer meeting at Most Holy Rosary. At that time he lived next door to Maloney's on Stolp Ave. I visited him a few times while he was at Hutchings We enjoyed going out to MacDonald's for a bite to eat. I lost track of him for a number of years, but was so pleased to become reacquainted when I started to bring Holy Communion to the residents on the 4th floor of the Cunningham Bldg. at Loretto in the last year or so. I will be sure to request a Holy Mass to be offered for the repose of his soul. Bob always had a warm smile and enjoyed ending his farewell by saying, "God love you!" God loves you, too, Robert!
