Ron was a great addition to all the OCS sporting events. He was a family man and loved coming to support his kids. He had many kind words for all the players and was very generous at the after parties. We will always remember him as kind and gentle with a big heart.

Ron was an excellent family man. I enjoyed sharing many a victory with Ron as a team mate, while with both the Salt city Aces and The Syracuse Bisons Semi-pro football club. Ron was a beastly offensive lineman, who opened many a long gainer for our running backs. While off the field, Ron's children were always his first priority. He will be missed. R.I.P. Tom Tubbert
This is from first cousin Bunny Mezzatesta. I Found out about Ron's passing too late in order to make an appearance at the wake. I remember all of my Canastare cousins and I having the best time as kids together.
I still laugh and remember the fun we had playing football and planning to wrestle as "the Terrible Triplets" along with Fish. Ron was one of the good guys and will be missed.
