Rose (Magnesio) DeMartino, 93, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at Birchwood Health Care Center. She was born in Utica and was a Librarian with the Catholic Diocese for ten years. She was predeceased by her husband, Americo J. D Read Obituary

I don't know if you remember me, but I was at SJBA when your mom was the librarian there..."Mrs. D"! I loved her so as a young girl, and she inspired me and helped me discover the joys of reading, which has served me well all these years. I didn't realize she was still alive...What a life she must have had! I hope her passing was peaceful and that she's with her God now. Prayers for you!
