Rose DeMartino's Obituary
Rose (Magnesio) DeMartino, 93, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday at Birchwood Health Care Center. She was born in Utica and was a Librarian with the Catholic Diocese for ten years. She was predeceased by her husband, Americo J. DeMartino in 2000. Rose is survived by her three daughters, Mary Anna DeMartino of Syracuse, Elizabeth (Eddie) Torres of New Jersey and Teresa (John) Palermo of Chestertown, NY; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Lenora Magnesio of Delaware; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 9:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 10:00 am in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME on Friday from 4 to 7 pm.
