Rose P. (Simon) O'Connor
'Twas an honor
honest and true
Being neighbor to you...
Exchanging friendly waves
As you walked briskly down the street
Ofttimes stopping to chat
(you were always so interesting)
... what a treat!
Learning from you, still in your teaching days
Then 'being there' for Hannah
You and John I do praise.
The street seemed somehow
To take on a new glow
When you would appear...
Daytime or when lamp light was low.
Your sharing your kindness with elder Ethel, she did know
When, yup, in need, just, for help, where to go.
So thanks for the lives you enriched by your presence
You remain in our hearts.. aware of your Essence.
Blessings,
Neighbor Joygerm Joan E. White
