Sal was a good friend. Our connection was through Uncle Frank M. I was honored to be his best man at Sue and Sal's wedding. When i went off to Alfred State College in mid 60's, Sal had this great idea ....We should open a pizza shop in Alfred. In retrospect this could have been a life changing idea in this very small town. I'll never forget. Love Joe Scalisi
I will always remember my Uncle Sal's beautiful smile. He was such a sweet and loving man. I remember when we lost our dog "Dinky", Uncle Sal sat on our front steps with us and cried just as hard as we did. He was a great Uncle to me and I will miss him dearly.
