Dear Sheila, Terry, Lisa, We send all our love. We have so many wonderful memories of get togethers with you and your mom! We never forgot the loving support she gave us throughtout the years ! So many confidences were shared at her kitchen table and John added as well as her great food and I agree totally! Our J & G and Sandy trips were so special! We will never forget her great sense of humor and all the laughs we shared with her! Amanda sends all her love as well. She never forgot the special visits she had with Sandy! Aunt Sandy, I can only imagine, but with no doubt in my mind, the glorious reunion and reception you have received upon your arrival home. You are once again, and for evermore, surrounded by your beloved brothers' and my beloved Uncles', Armand, Leonard, Eugene and Frank. I choose to believe that the trials and tribulations we must face in terrestrial life are merely "payment in full" in our contract with God, which promises to us an eternal existence, far exceeding our expectations of what it means for us to have said we have "had a good life". By all measures, yours Aunt Sandy, was indeed a good life. Especially when measured by how good you have made the lives of all who know you. I will always cherish every memory I have of you, and of all those in our family and in your presence now, that have gone home before you.

My brothers and I (sons of her brother Frank) remember Sandy for the great interest she always showed in our lives as we progressed from boys to men. As I think back, we really did not see her often enough. She and her family did not live so close to us as other relatives. She was always so sweet to us, though, when she saw us, and gave us big hugs and told us how "handsome" we all were. She loved our father, Frank, tons, and that love seemed to seep down to us, his sons, and I know my father reciprocated in that love. I believe the close relationship my brothers share to this day is in someway modeled on the loving relationship of the generation of Bersanis that preceded us who, alas, are now almost all gone (Gilda hang in there!) There is nothing as splendid in this whole world as Aunt Sandy's Ricotta pie, which we devoured with zeal at least every Christmas and whenever else we could get our hands on it. Maybe God took her up because those angels were craving some of that pie!

I will never forget the wonderful times spent with Aunt Sandy. My heart is broken with her passing. My childhood memories somehow always include her. She was the most caring person and oh so funny. She will be missed greatly. Sheila, Terry, Lisa , my love, thoughts, and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Wood was a wonderful lady. I have very fond memories of going to her house on holidays and listening to all the "horror stories" of Terry and Joe when they were little. I remember listening and thinking that I was in big trouble if my child was anything like you boys were...Thankfully you both grew up... I'm sure her and Joe have reunited again and are setting up a new neighborhood in heaven. You now have another angel watching over you. Hugs to all!
