It is with heartfelt sadness that we learn of Shirley’s passing.
She was a long time friend and classmate; a kind, sincere and a genuinely good spirited person. Her treasure chest was a very big heart, filed with abundant love for her husband Sam, her family, her many friends and for her class, the N. H. S. class of 1953.
Thru the years Shirley was the thoughtful organizer, secretary and treasurer of our wonderful reunions. She graciously, initiated the calls, and hosted the meetings with much pride and enthusiasm; she glowed at the thought of bringing the class together for one more time; that being every five or ten years since graduation. For all her attentiveness, kindness and hard work we are most grateful. She did lots of good!
Be sustained in the memories of that goodness, and of recollections of growing up under the guidance of wonderful parents.
May the gentle hand of the Lord lead her to reunion with her beloved Sam, departed family members, friends …… and to eternal peace.
