Shirley A. (Campione) Fornito's Obituary
Shirley A. (Campione) Fornito, 82, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (Pepitone) Campione. Shirley graduated from North High School in 1953. She was a Bookkeeper for Kress Drugs and Franciscan Health Support, retiring after many years of service.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore A. “Sam” Fornito; her sister, Kathleen Errico and great-granddaughter, Rylee Diana.
Shirley is survived 3 daughters, Kathleen P. (Anthony) Copani of Cicero, Nancy M. Bergeson (Paul Hunter) of Syracuse and Mary Lynn (Michael Brennan of Liverpool; her son, John D. (Becky) Fornito of Cicero; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joanne Loughney of Syracuse, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 am on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Funeral Mass in celebration of Shirley’s life at 9:00 am in St. John the Baptist/Holy Trinity Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
