My condolences on the loss of Zina.

Zina was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. She used to keep in touch with my grandmother, Dagnija (Zina’s grandparents were Dagnija’s great-grandparents), through phone calls from Latvia. We hadn't heard from her in several years and sadly assumed she had passed. We only discovered this page today, which confirmed our thoughts, so thank you for sharing this!

I would be very grateful if anyone related to Zina could get in touch with me. I have some questions about our family tree, and it would bring comfort to my grandmother to know that some connection remains.

My name is Alexander Indrikovs and I live in New York. My paternal family is originally from Riga, Latvia. My grandparents (Jvlius Indrikovs and Lydia Michaelis) migrated to Venezuela in 1944 at the end of WW2. My father (Leopolds) and aunt (Ilona) were 14 and 16 years old at the time. My memory of Mrs Sturms is that she was a strong, determined little lady. After graduation it was always nice to see her at Chappell's. I see, in Chris, the strength that her mother had.
