Sophie and Sam were great neighbors to my parents. There were many years of greetings from our patio to Sophie's deck. Many fond memories of West High Terrace and Meadow. May memories of Sophie (and Sam) give you strength in the days ahead.
Sophie, together with her sister Lottie, were the two grand ladies of Menter, Rudin & Trivelpiece, P.C. Sophie always had a smile for you, and a story to make you laugh. I remember in her later years, when she had her share of aches and pains that she never complained, and always came to work with her usual smile. She was a wonderful person and an exemplary member of the MRT staff for those many many years. I and my family extend our sympathy to all the Sgroi family.
