Stanley Francis “Red” Daniszewski, 94, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Born in Syracuse, son of the late Stanley and Mary (Godzwon) Daniszewski, he was a graduate of Read Obituary
Our “across the street neighbor” for over 40+ years. Every morning as I was on my way to work, Red was on his way to morning Mass. He would always yell over, “Don’t worry. I’ll say a prayer for you!” As a Kindergarten teacher, I often think that it was Red’s daily prayers that DID get me through many days.🙏 Always so generous to our two kids and later our two grandchildren. We will miss watching him riding his stationary bike on the front porch to California and back! We have lost an extraordinary neighbor and friend!

Red was one of the good guys in the court system, as I saw him almost daily and shared a laugh with him. Rest in peace, my friend Red and may God bless you and your family.
My Mother Carolyn Langley (then) went to school with Red! She said he was a wonderful person and friend. So much so that I knew immediately when I saw his name and pic that I knew it was him and remembered her stories of Vocational and Basketball. My deepest condolences to your family on your loss on behalf of my mother who passed in 2017.
As neighbors to Red and Diane since 1989, we can attest to what a decent, kind, and funny gentleman he always was. We will never forget the many years we watched him take the bus downtown to the Y, or noticed the pocketful of candy or snacks our son Ryan always received after mowing his lawn. He will be greatly missed on our corner because of the lasting impact he has left in our hearts. Rest in peace Red.
I was in Erie Pa. , several years ago, and met a gentleman from Syracuse, who graduated from V.O.I mentioned Red and the guy immediately responded, “ best southpaw.”. Red was truly one of a kind. The mornings, in SYAC, with Red, I will always remember and treasure. God bless you , Red
