My dear friend Susan, Life was so sweet when we met and discovered each other’s passion for art and crafting. I knew in an instant that we would be long friends. The sharing of your creativity and talent opened my mind to so many of my future projects that I would have never dreamed possible if it were not for you. Although we worked well together for many years at NYSWC, the special creative bond we had will always be remembered in my heart and I am forever a better person and artist due to your encouragement, your tremendous talent and your passion for all things crafty. I will miss those shopping trips to Hobby Lobby to gather all those Christmas supplies for our annual wreath raffles at work. I will miss our talks about painting, bow making and glue gun mishaps. I will miss showing each other our latest projects. I will miss sharing on Pinterest and your wonderful comments to my Instagram and Facebook postings. I will miss the laughs, and I will miss you saying each morning at work “do you think anyone will mind if we just sit and craft today?” Most of all I will miss you. Doug B.
