Susan K. (Weaver) Cox's Obituary
Susan K. (Weaver) Cox, 54, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 25, 2023 with her loving family and fur-babies by her side. A life resident of the Syracuse area, she was a graduate of Marcellus High School and worked for several dedicated years at NY Spine & Wellness Center. Susan loved painting, boating, and traveling to Disney World. Most of all, she loved being with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren and fur-babies, Daisy and Marshmallow.
Susan was predeceased by her father, William L. Weaver.
She is survived by her husband, Loren A. Cox; son, Justin Leach; daughters, Sarah Howell, and Hannah (Devin) Behrens; her stepdaughter, Jennifer Cox; two grandsons, Ben, and Eric Howell; her mother, Mary L. Weaver; a sister, Kelly DeSena; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Susan’s life at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Susan’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
