Thomas E. Ross' Obituary
Thomas E. Ross, 79, of Liverpool, passed away April 3, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Syracuse and graduated from St. John the Evangelist and attended Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica, NY. He retired from Niagara Mohawk in the Training and Development Department. Tom impacted many lives within the Liverpool Community having coached for the Immaculate Heart of Mary Grammar and CYO Basketball programs, Salt City Little League and Liverpool Babe Ruth. Tom thoroughly loved his time at Swan Bay in the Thousand Islands, NY Yankees baseball and SU sports.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Doris (Cosselmon) Ross. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Ann (Tubbert) Ross; three sons, Christopher (Maryanne) of Clay; Thomas (Michelle) of Orlando and Jeffrey (Joelle) of Liverpool; grandchildren, Ryan, Meghan, Alex, JJ, Mason, Allie, Carly, and great-grandson, Benjamin.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, April 8, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call from 1:00 – 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
