Timothy J. "Tim" Decker's Obituary
Timothy J. “Tim” Decker 54, of Liverpool, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 3, 2022, after a brief illness. Tim was a graduate of SUNY Cortland, received his MBA at Le Moyne College, and his Certification in School Business Administration from SUNY Brockport. He joined Jamesville – Dewitt CSD in 2009 as the School Business Administrator and spent several dedicated years with the district. Tim enjoyed attending baseball and hockey games, driving his Ford Mustang Convertible with his dogs Fred and Ollie, but most of all enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved children.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Patricia (Civello) Decker; three children, Jacqueline, Timothy Jr., and Ashley; his father, John Decker, his mother Patricia M. Decker; two siblings, Cheryl Decker, and Christopher (Stacey) Decker; along with several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 10, 2022, at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at the funeral home.
Tim’s family will forever be grateful to the nursing staff at Upstate University Hospital, Hospice, and the wonderful staff at Francis House for the compassionate care given to Tim.
