Vincent J. Russo, 82, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday. A life resident of the Syracuse area, he was employed with General Electric for over 35 years and was a lifetime member of the GE Pensioners Club. Vincent was a communican Read Obituary
Mrs.Russo and Family, we are very sorry over Mr.Russo's loss. He was a very kind ,caring and an amazing person. My three sisters and I would always love to say hello to Mr.Russo. During the summertime, my sisters and I would be playing catch with a Frisbee or a football, we would always accidentally throw it to hard, and it would land in Mr.Russo's lawn. The next day, it would be back in our back-yard. He would never hesitate to throw it back over. When we would happen to see him next door, he always had a smile on his face. He would ask how my family and I are doing, he would also tell me to tell my family to say hello, and give us tomatoes or green beans. We appreciated all he has done for me and my family. Although, he did inspire me. At 82 years old, he would be outside caring for his beautiful garden. I always used to say, I want to be like him when im older, always outside and busy unlike most elderly. We do, and will miss him very deeply.

We will never forget how you took care of us and welcomed us with open arms when those many years ago my parents came to this country and all of you, my mothers first cousins, became her big brothers and sisters, guiding and teaching. How even when we moved to Long Island you were always there for us in good times and bad. My mom always had a special place in her heart for Uncle Vince she always said he spoke the best Italian out of all those Russo's and they shared a name. Now they are together again in Heaven.

Jane and family. I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I live kitty corner from you; I remember going to your house and introducing myself the first summer I moved into my house and asking Vince if he could show me the difference between my plants and my weeds in my little garden. He was so sweet and didn't hesitate to come over and share his wisdom of gardening with me. Thank you Vince for being you. My heart and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Mrs.Russo and Family, Our words can not express how deeply saddened we are to hear of the passing of Mr. Russo. He was such a kind and gentile man. We have had the pleasure of living behind Mr. & Mrs. Russo for the past 7 yrs, and will greatly miss seeing him outside caring for his amazing garden. There would be times I would pull in my driveway and I would have a bag of tomatoes or green beans hanging from my mailbox. It seemed like almost everyday he would be out there working in his garden or caring for his lawn. I will miss him popping his head over our fence to say hello, our girls will miss doing the same! We were saddened beyond words to hear of Mr. Russo's passing. The boys very clearly recollect visiting with the two of you during our trip to Nonna's house this past summer. We smile at the memory of Mr. Russo being 'welcomed' by our dog Lucky when he brought Nonna Communion on Sunday morning! Mr. Russo was always kind and ever-willing to help out in any way he was needed. While we pray for God to Bless you with great strength to bear this grief, we rejoice in knowing that he has reached his Heavenly reward. We are certain his journey was quick and he was welcomed by Jesus's open arms. All God's Blessings....
