Vincent J. Russo's Obituary
Vincent J. Russo, 82, of Liverpool, passed away on Friday. A life resident of the Syracuse area, he was employed with General Electric for over 35 years and was a lifetime member of the GE Pensioners Club. Vincent was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, Usher and Greeter. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Bishop Curley Counsel and was an avid golfer and gardener. Vincent is survived by his loving wife, Jane (Spina) Russo; 5 brothers, Anthony (Carmela) Russo of Liverpool, Joseph Russo of East Syracuse, Christopher (Arline) Russo of Liverpool, Vito (Darlene) Russo of Mattydale and Paul (Kathleen) Russo of Syracuse; a sister, Elizabeth Mallaro of Mattydale and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 8:30 AM in the Thomas J. Pirro Funeral Home and 9:30 AM in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY on Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
