To our American cousins we send our heartfelt sympathy. Learning of Virgie's passing was a shock to us. I had spoken to her two days before we left for Florida.I am so sorry we could not be with you for the funeral mass......I am sure all the angels in heaven were there. Michele and Michael, my heart breaks for you. So many great memories of your mom, my second mother growing up. I was so fortunate to have seen her and chatted at my dad's memorial last June. Her infectious smile will forever be remembered. I loved her so. Love and prayers of strength to you and your family.

Aunt Virg,
You were and will always be a huge presence in our family. Whether parties with the whole family on Fay Rd., or just a visit with Ava, you were always there. You filled a void when grandma passed, sharing stories, reminiscing about days past and looking forward to all that was to come. And you were so loving and wonderful with Ava, she always loved seeing you. Your big smile, love for your family and gentle way of listening when it was needed will never be forgotten.
Ava and I will miss you on our bike rides but know that "you are happy to be living with Jesus now" (as Ava said) and are enjoying being with Uncle Rich, Grandma and Uncle Rocky again. Give them our love and hugs.

Dear Aunt Virg, Our relationship started out as Aunt/Nephew and it grew into Friends. We have made some great memories and gotten past a few tough times. But no matter what happened You managed to get up for the next round. You have always shown Love and affection to JoAnne and our son Joey. You will Forever be missed.
