Skinner Family. Sorry to hear of the passing of Yolanda. For the past 3-4 years my wife and I have delivered meals (Meals On Wheels EOC) to her on Thursdays. Always a very pleasant lady. Blessings to all of you. Larry Schunck (Board Member MOW EOC).
Yolanda was a wonderful volunteer at the Gregory J. Harris Military Courtesy Room at Syracuse Airport. She warmly greeted the guests and always had a story to share. I enjoyed working alongside Yolanda. April Schad
Aunt Landa - I first discovered how much I enjoyed writing poems (like you) when I wrote a poem about my mother (Anna DeLuca Matrone) when she died in 1978. I guess I inherited that gift from you. When we talked about my "loud whistle", you told me Grampa Matrone would whistle (very loudly) for you kids when he wanted you home. Either the apple doesn't fall far from the tree or history has a way of repeating itself. Thank you for the memories and Rest in Peace.
